My Tattoo

“Love Amelia” Has quite a bit of meaning behind it. On August 7th of this past year my 16-year-old sister, Amelia, was shot and killed in Ohio. It is hard to explain in words the pain that my family has experienced for these past couple of months. Losing a person that you love literally feels like you’re heart is breaking. You know when someone dies and everyone describes them as “the nicest person I have every met”, or “everyone just loved old so and so.” Well in reality, when anyone describes Amelia it is the truth. I have NEVER met and more selfless, beautiful and grateful young lady. She never took anything for granted and lived her life to the fullest. Her love for nature and animals was like nothing I had every experienced before. She was truly an inspiration for every person who knew her. As for the tattoo, I got this from a card that Amelia wrote for my other sister Lindsey’s birthday. It is literally her handwriting and I couldn’t have asked for a better artist to recreate a little piece of Amelia for me. I hope you enjoyed my story… and Amelia, I love you forever Sweetie.
