Once Upon a Time...

Once upon a time in a far away place there was a young girl who was afraid of everything! From jumping rope to eating at a picnic table, she was always full of fear. On her sixteenth birthday her mother told her that if she wanted to be successful in life she would have to start by concurring her silly fears! The young girl did not take her mother’s opinion lightly, so she decided to take action. “It is time to overcome my fears before they overcome me”, she exclaimed! She knew that she could do anything that she put her mind to. The next morning she got up at the crack of dawn to begin her process. She started by playing dodge ball, which had always made her anxious and full of worry. It took a significant amount of time, but after the fourteenth ball was thrown at her she decided the game was not too bad! She was actually having fun! The next few weeks were all a blur for her, an eventful fulfilling blur. After a months time she was ready to take on her biggest fear of all… her driving test. On the day of the test she was ready to back out as soon as she sat in the drivers seat, but she remembered the words that had kept her going all this time, “It is time to overcome my fears before they overcome me!” With that, she pushed of the gas petal and before she knew it, she was getting her picture taken at the D.M.V. for her future license… And from that day forward, the young girl never let her fears demolish her, no matter how big they appeared to be.
