"The Road to Liberation"

My plan for my historical research paper is to tell the story of a young girl’s journey through the Holocaust up until a few days after the liberation of Auschwitz. The beginning will start out with the character being interviewed by her granddaughter for a school project. The main character, Anita, will be very hesitant to talk about her days of suffrage, but after some heckling from her granddaughter she will begin the reflection of the topic that she has not thought about for years. While the interview is underway, Anita starts drifting off into the corners of her mind and reliving the events that she has worked so hard to forget. Anita begs for the interview to resume the following day so that she can have the night to herself in order to calm down and regain her sanity. The next day Anita’s granddaughter return looking for answers, and Anita is ready to talk. Find out the pain and sorrows of a young Holocaust survivor in, “The Road to Liberation.”
